A Two-Day Art & Design Adventure for Children Aged 7–11

Our Creative Minds Summer Camp is a fun, hands-on two-day experience where children become both artists and designers, exploring different ways of thinking, creating and solving problems through exciting art activities.

Whether your child loves drawing, painting, making or inventing, they’ll enjoy experimenting with a wide range of materials while building confidence, creativity and new artistic skills in a friendly small-group environment.

Children are welcome to join either one day or both days.

Day 1 – Be an Artist for a Day

Children will step into the shoes of a real artist by exploring how artists observe, experiment and express their ideas.

Throughout the day they will:

• Explore drawing, painting and mixed media
• Experiment with exciting materials and creative techniques
• Learn how artists develop ideas through sketching and exploration
• Create their own unique artwork to take home
• Build confidence through creative expression

Rather than following a template, children will be encouraged to make artistic choices and discover their own creative style.

Day 2 – Be a Designer for a Day

On the second day, children become designers, learning that creativity can also solve problems.

They will:

• Take part in fun design challenges
• Sketch and develop original ideas
• Learn simple design thinking and planning skills
• Build and test creative solutions
• Create their own design project

Children will discover that good design combines imagination, observation and problem-solving.
