These free monthly art and craft sessions were designed to create a welcoming and relaxing space for adults to explore creativity in a supportive community environment. Held in collaboration with Mycenae House’s Reach Out Project, the sessions aimed to encourage wellbeing, connection, and self-expression through art.
Participants were invited to drop in, unwind, and enjoy a variety of creative activities, from painting and drawing to simple craft projects. The focus was on the process rather than the outcome, allowing everyone to explore freely, regardless of experience level.
The sessions offered a calm and friendly atmosphere where individuals could take a break from daily routines, meet others, and enjoy the therapeutic benefits of making art. No prior experience was needed — just a willingness to try, relax, and have fun.
Through these sessions, art became a way to connect, reflect, and support wellbeing within the local community.

As the butterflies took shape, participants added their own creative touches, developing each piece into a finished artwork full of personality and imagination. The process was playful and engaging, while also helping children build confidence in experimenting with new materials.
